A tribute to Casper, my little buddy for the last 16 1/2 years. She isn't doing so well, so I wanted to paint this before I have to say good-bye. While she's still around to yowl at me her drawn out "m-o-m", and follow me around quietly requesting a lap. My heart breaks to see her slip away, so this is painted with much love.
The photo doesn't do this one justice. It has much more depth and subtlety in real life than I can capture in camera. Loved this photo. Thanks to Monica and Elsa for letting me use it.
